Kempner.net is the personal web site of Joshua Kempner. I used to work in astrophysics before leaving the field for a startup that was later acquired by a large life sciences company. I worked there until recently, and am currently taking a sabbatical to recharge while doing some light contract work for an early stage startup to learn some new technologies and keep my brain engaged.

These days, I put most of my non-work time into family. I also spend much of my free time playing and refereeing soccer. I'm also the referee assignor for Medway Youth Soccer.
